In this Blog: May AAT Guide 2026 featuring 10 artists!
As I intro this May Guide, it's a sunny 85 degree day, there's a spring thunderstorm rolling across the Tennessee Valley (sans rain), and I can hear all the new birds chirping away. Spring has been around and a hot summer is right around the corner
The art selects in this guide remind me of spring-into-summer, the vibrant time when nature shows off and you just want to lay in the grass, probably get sun burnt, and soak it all in.
Since my last guide, I've designed more prints/patterns than I can count, released one pattern painting collection, designed lots of new home goods with my patterns (that I hope to release sooner-than-later), illustrated for fun, illustrated for work, made sketches en plein air in Barcelona and Amsterdam, worked with some dream brands and clients, completed painting commissions, and more! Amongst my current projects, I am also working on my second Art Party (yay!). Recently, I traveled to Barcelona & Amsterdam where I made finding art and seeing art a priority (feel free to message/inquire for my recs– would love to share). Once back state-side, I have found the trip motivated me (perhaps more than ever) to never stop creating...

I wish for whoever is reading this to have a wonderful summer full of inspiration, time in the sun, time to slow down, and full-cup moments with friends and family. I am so excited for the sun to stay out. In my own art practice in June, I am designing prints and illustrations for brands, starting and completeting Fields and Pattern Paintings, and trying to show up more on social media with all of my content ideas (might as well!)
